We spent a week on holiday in Kos, Greece, organized by Juna “Wonderful Greek Islands”: it was a wonderful holiday and everything went well.
Perfect organization: we were found a beautiful apartment right in Kos Town, equipped with all comforts, new, with large terraces, a nice bathroom and comfortable beds; Juna then, on the one hand, found us a car rental at a decidedly advantageous price for the whole week and, on the other, gave us numerous valuable indications for getting around the island, advising us on places to visit, when to visit them, the best beaches, the places to go to eat or have a drink, the places to be careful.
The island of Kos, it must be said, is truly splendid: for us, who wanted to rediscover the pleasure of visiting a different beach every day, it was a very pleasant surprise. The island, in fact, has numerous beaches, all of a very high standard, with a crystal clear and wonderful sea. We liked the beaches to the south more (Magic Beach, Paradise Beach, Camel Beach, Agios Stefanos), where the situation was truly stupendous, with water that couldn't be more beautiful. The ones to the north are also very beautiful and, in particular, the one in Tigaki, where we had a great time. Furthermore, everywhere there are really comfortable sunbeds and efficient beach services. As for the "Therma" beach, it was a wonderful visit and this not so much for the "thermal bath" (interesting in any case), but for the view that can be enjoyed, both along the road that leads to it and when it's on the beach and the temptation to follow the immersion in the hot waters of the spa with a dip in the fresh, blue water of the sea is irresistible.
The city of Kos is also surprisingly beautiful, with its monuments, the castle, the Roman remains and the very lively port: absolutely worth seeing, not far from the city, is the Asklepieion (I hope I wrote it right), the legendary "first hospital of history”, an extremely evocative place.
In short, a magnificent experience, which we recommend to everyone. The Greek islands are truly wonderful!
